The Sammy D Foundation initially engaged Kate Thiele to review our governance framework which supported our Board to recruit new personnel to increase capability around the table.

Following this excellent work, we asked Kate to support the Board and I to review our purpose and aspiration and development of our new strategic plan.

Within this work, Kate was able to consolidate thoughts of each member and skilfully bring together key strategic actions.

Kate is very experienced across corporate, NFP and government sectors which helped build trust almost immediately. She took us all on a journey to understand what our organisation needed to stand out in the community and sector. Our organisation now has a clear purpose and is driven to increase impact through education, and we have been able to demonstrate this through prioritising and increasing our impact reporting. This work has been transformational for us.

Since engaging Kate to work with our Board to create a 3 year strategic plan and framework for the next 10 years, our impact in the community has increased, our revenue has doubled,  and our media presence has also seen a dramatic uplift.
